Meet Dr. Ogden

Please allow me to introduce myself.  After growing up in Oklahoma, my family moved to Columbia in 1967, where I graduated from Hickman High School in 1969.  I attended the University of Missouri from 1969-1972, after which I received my professional degree from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1976.  Later that year, I established my private practice here.  We have practiced in our present location for the past 21 years.

I had decided to make dentistry my career at the age of 13, and worked my way through dental school as a dental laboratory technician.  I have always regarded my dental school training as just the beginning of my education.  Dentistry has remained a passion of mine all this time.  Weekends will often find me here at the office, working to make temporary cosmetic restorations that rival the appearance of the final results.  Otherwise, my time is spent with my wife Lynn or with my friends at the golf course.

I have been invited to give talks to our local dental society, the Central District Society, and the Missouri Dental Association on the subjects of adhesive dentistry, TMJ disorders, and most recently, controlling and monitoring the quality of water in dental units which is used to cool high speed instruments, clean your teeth, and rinse your mouth.

I have dedicated my career to providing my patients with the finest care available anywhere, through continuing education and attention to the smallest details.  Not a single patient in my practice receives a level of care less than I would provide for my own family or want for myself.  As a patient, you are important to me.

It would be my pleasure to meet you and to serve your dental health needs.
