We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. We've all been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. The new virus, COVID19, has provided a new challenge in this part of the practice. We want to let you know about some changes to our procedures, following ADA and CDC guidelines, designed to best protect our patients and staff. We are constantly monitoring recommendations as well as the situation in our particular corner of the world.
Our office will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
If possible, come to your appointment by yourself. We want to minimize the population of the reception area. We've also removed all reading material there to minimize "touch" objects.
If you arrive early, please stay in your vehicle until it's time for your appointment. (You know from experience we're likely to be on time.)
Please bring and use your own mask or other face covering until you reach the treatment area. We have a limited number of masks ourselves, and we need to protect our inventory.
We will provide hand sanitizer as soon as you enter. We'll also take your temperature.
We'll do our best to allow enough time to allow social distancing between patients. Obviously, during treatment, we can't do our job from six feet away!
